Habitat for Humanity Fundraiser

Did you know that it takes $65,000 to build a Habitat for Humanity house?

Now you can help build the next Habitat House.

Here are a few other facts from http://www.habitat.org/how/factsheet.aspx

  • Habitat is not a giveaway program. In addition to a down payment and monthly mortgage payments, homeowners invest hundreds of hours of their own labor (sweat equity) into building their Habitat house and the houses of others.
  • Habitat houses are sold to partner families at no profit and financed with affordable loans.
  • The homeowners’ monthly mortgage payments are used to build still more Habitat houses.
I have a good friend who works for Habitat and when she was telling me that they were gearing up to start fundraising to build another house, I racked my brain to figure out how I could help.

My photography company employees a very talented nature photographer and I've taken many of his images and turned them into a 2012 calendar.

Here is a sample of the images.

The Calendars are $20 each and Ardéur Photography hopes to be able to make at least a $5,000 contribution to Habitat for Humanity Greater Greensboro.

Please consider purchasing a calendar and sharing the information to all your friends and family on a way that they can help and walk away with a beautiful calendar.

As each picture was a careful photograph, each calendar is a piece of art, and will be hand signed and numbered.

As an added bonus, on January 1st - one lucky person will win their choice of a Kindle Fire or a $200 Apple Gift Card. The winning Calendar number will be posted to the Ardéur Photography blog (www.ardeurphotographyblog.com) with the winning number.

Calendars are available at:
